Adriana is a movement artist, choreographer and DIY culture enthusiast working between Portugal and Bristol. Their work crosses discipline-fluid practices, using installation, improvisation, sound art, site-specific, and immersive participatory performance.
Adriana’s work is moved by states of existential chimera, by themes of societal/psychological absurdism, and by Contemporary rave culture as capacitor for collective playfulness.
Also known as avulgaris, Adriana is a resident DJ of Inklingroom, a platform for Contemporary Dance Performance and Experimental music.
